Happy Father's Day!!

First let me give Honor to my biological father who is no longer with us.
Samuel Thomas Spencer 1947-2001. I Love You Dad and wish you were here... Rest In Peace.

Secondly, I want to give Honor to God, my spiritual Father, Maker of the heavens and the Earth, without whom nothing is possible. Thank you Father for all that I am and all that I have. I thank you for your protection, and your direction and for all of the many blessings you have bestowed upon me!


Thirdly, and the true inspiration behind this Father's Day post. To my son, who is now a Father. I love you son and honor what you have done, are doing, and will do in your life. I thank God for you. Without the benefit of a positive male role model in your life you have grown into a promising, inspiring, strong, Man that I am so proud of. Your decision to serve the armed forces of this country is commendable and honorable and I love you for it.
I love you for the way you treat your wife and for the way you treat your daughter. I love you for the way you protect your sisters and for the brotherly love, and kinship you share with your younger brother. I love you for the way you have grown and matured, and for your positive influence on others. I love you because you are the manifestation of 1 of my 5 most cherished blessing from God. But mostly I love you because you are YOU!

The Virtuous Wife

10 Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her;

All the days of her life.
13 She seeks wool and flax,
And willingly works with her hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships,
She brings her food from afar.
15 She also rises while it is yet night,
And provides food for her household,
And a portion for her maidservants.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
From her profits she plants a vineyard.
17 She girds herself with strength,
And strengthens her arms.

Blog Of The Week! #5

Hello Bloggers!
Last week due to so many happenings in the "real" world like the Superbowl (Which the NEW YORK GIANTS WON!), Super Tuesday (Did anybody really win this??), me trying to organize my first blog contest, and various other happenings I did not do a Blog Of The Week post.
But I can not let another day go by without telling you the blog that I am most feeling this week (I know how much you look forward to this!!).

... 5 Things I Want My Kids To Know Before They Grow Up...Tagged by Yenny!

Well my kids are quite old already (14, 18, 19, 21, & 22)! But there are still things that I want them to know (if they don’t already!)!

1. I want all of them to know how much I love them.
2. I want all of them to know that there is nothing that they can not talk to me about.
3. I want them to know that God loves them, and Jesus died for them!
4. I want them to know that after God/Jesus the next most important thing is Family!
5. And lastly, I want them to know that no weapon formed against them shall prosper and they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them!

Now these are things that I have tried to convey to my little tribe throughout there lives! I can only pray that they hear it, see it, believe it, and live it!
