Pray For Rain????

Have you seen the you tube video of Stuart Shepard from the political arm of Focus On The Family? If you have seen the video what are your thoughts on it?
In the video Mr Shepard is asking all Christians to pray for "torrential" rains, rain of "biblical proportions" to rain out Obama's upcoming Nominee Acceptance speech at the Democratic Convention in Denver. Read the story here. Focus On The Family has pulled the video from their website in response to numerous complaints from their members.

The very conservative Focus On The Family has been very vocal in it's opposition to Barrack Obama becoming the next President of the United States.

Watch the video and please leave your comments.

this cat is a disgrace to be attempting to invoke anything from God...God doesn't work that way. Just because you don't agree with something or someone..let's just let God blot 'em out...Wow. These "folks" really hate Obama. But God is good...ALL THE TIME and what He has for you is for YOU...

Congrats on being GoZack's Blogroller spotlight diva...YOU GO GIRL!!! Proud to know ya!

This is really sad, the opposition just looks desperate like a dateless high school girl on the eve of the prom.

This is shameful and ridiculous! I am not religious but Im pretty sure no religion at its core promotes petty sabotage. God is not with that! Furthermore, what makes them think God has the time to make biblical-caliber stuff happen over the US presidential election!?!?

Ya know, it is groups like this that make it so very hard to win people to Christ!

Those issues that he mentioned are personal choices. I would never choose to have an abortions nor to live a gay lifestyle. Those are personal choices between the Lord and I, not for a politician to make for me. My Grandma has always said "You can't legislate morality!"

What I pray for is an improved economy, lower gas and food prices, an end to a foolish war, and a brighter future for my boys!!! Is that wrong?

I can't view video right now, but I will check the story out. I am intrigued... I like Focus on the Family and I will wait until I know more information to complain and vent about this. Thanks for posting this.
